The Cypriot Meteorological Department has issued a fresh Yellow Warning in anticipation of high temperatures prevailing in the island nation.
Temperatures in the week are expected to rise as high as 40C in the interior areas.
The warning shall remain in effect for around one and a half days, and might be extended if the situation continues to prevail.
