Philippos Tymvios, the Director of the Meteorology Department said that the cold weather is all set to subside.
He further explained that the reason for this is the weather system gradually moving towards the center of the island, after being particularly active in its southwestern & western regions.
The current forecast predicts thunderstorms along with snowing in the mountains and hail inland. The intensity, however, is expected to be lesser.
